Recently the Federal Reserve Board passed new regulations requiring
all financial institutions to obtain an “Opt-In” form from account holders
to continue providing Overdraft Services on ATM and one-time
Debit Card transactions clearing members accounts.
This change means that if we do not receive a signed “Opt-In” form
from checking account holders, the current overdraft services with
SnoCope will soon not cover ATM and one-time Debit Card transactions
for them. Please note the new regulations do not affect the
current overdraft services that are provided on ACH or Paper Check
transactions. The changes will begin to affect accounts on August 15, 2010. Providing us with the “Opt-In” form before August 15, 2010 can
ensure that you do not experience any changes in the services you are
presently receiving. You have the option to opt-in or opt-out at
anytime.
If you do not provide SnoCope with the “Opt-In” form linked below,
your ATM and Debit Card transactions will no longer be authorized if
funds are not available. All transactions will be handled within the
existing policies of your account.
In order to continue receiving the overdraft services that you may
currently have, please print and complete the “Opt-In” form (below)
and return it to SnoCope. You may also call 425-388-3481 to opt-in to
the overdraft services. By clicking the link below you will be provided
additional details about overdraft procedures. If you have any questions,
please call a Member Service Representative at:
425-388-3481.
