SnoCope Federal Credit Union is owned by its members and run by a board of directors you elect. You can be confident that your financial privacy is a top priority of this credit union. SnoCope Federal Credit Union recognizes that members have high expectations of their credit union and how it uses member information. SnoCope diligently protects all information about its members and the financial services which they use. This includes all member transactions, business conducted via the internet, ATM networks, wire services, telephone, the U.S. mail, and all other means of communication.

SnoCope Federal Credit Union collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
  • Information about your transactions with us or others
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency

We are committed to providing you with competitive products and services designed to meet your financial needs, which necessitates that we share information about you to complete your transactions and to provide you with certain financial opportunities. In order to do so, we have entered into agreements with other companies that provide either services to us or additional financial products for you to consider. Each of these companies have been approved by the credit union's board of directors. Our employees are trained on the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy. Members requesting further information or having concerns regarding the Privacy Policy or the credit union's perceived non-compliance with the policy, should be forwarded directly to the credit union's Chief Executive Officer or to a member of the credit union's Supervisory Committee for prompt consideration. PROTECTING INFORMATION EXCHANGED ONLINE

When you apply online for our service, or provide information to SnoCope FCU at our website, you provide personal and financial information that is necessary for us to process your application or request. Information provided to us using our online applications or forms are sent in a "secure session" established with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL technology secretly encodes information that is sent over the internet between your computer and SnoCope FCU. There are easy ways to tell if your browser is using a secure connection. One way is to look for a locked padlock icon at the bottom of your browser window. Another way is to look for the change from the normal "http:" at the beginning of the web page address to "https:". The "s" indicates a secure connection. When you see those signs, they are your indication that your online information is secure. For website management, we capture limited information about the number of visits to our site. We use this information only to analyze general traffic patterns, for example, what sections or links are the most or the least popular, or to perform routine system maintenance. No personal information, such as your name or address, is collected or used for this analysis. We collect no information that would identify you personally.
