COVID-19 UPDATE 7.1.21  - Our Lobby and Loan Department are open to members with some restrictions. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated members. Unvaccinated members are still required to wear a mask. We continue to practice social distancing and sanitization protocols.

................................................................................

Member Alert 5.25.21 - Members may notice a longer “preauthorization hold” when they use their debit cards to purchase gas. These “preauthorization holds” are legitimate, the “holds” are released after approximately 2 business days. This additional hold time is a result of a recent debit card migration. SnoCope is working to resolve the issues.

UPDATE: 6.5.20

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - SnoCope will reopen our lobby to limited foot traffic on June 15th under new safety and sanitization protocols to assure the health and wellbeing of all staff and members.

Your safety is our priority.

SnoCope Credit Union remains committed to providing the best member service possible while taking the following precautions to protect members and employees:

  • We are adhering to social distancing protocols and requiring members to do the same.
  • We are limiting the number of members allowed in the lobby at one time. A door concierge will greet and direct members to the first available teller, or will be instructed to wait outside for the next available teller. No waiting in the lobby will be available.
  • Employees will be wearing face masks and gloves while serving members.
  • We are requiring members to wear face mask to enter the SnoCope lobby and are encouraging them to use hand sanitizer.
  • We have installed plexiglass screens at all the teller stations to protect members and employees.
  • Teller station window areas will be sanitized between member visits.
  • Members will still be encouraged to use the night drop to handle deposits and other transactions not requiring a lobby visit.
  • The loan department area will remain closed and any loan transactions will be done downstairs in the branch lobby.
  • We have increased the frequency and thoroughness of workspace and facilities cleaning.

Easy and safe access to your money and your credit union is critically important to us and while SnoCope prefers to be a warm and inviting place where members are encouraged to visit, the COVID-19 Pandemic has completely changed the way we provide service. We now have to think in terms of the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus and safety protocols. Regular heightened cleaning procedures and social distancing safety protocols are now in place. Members can expect to see us wearing face masks and gloves as we operate behind plexiglass screens with small slide throughs for transactions. Services like the coin counter will not be available until further notice. Short appointments will be the norm, and extra family or friends will be required to remain outside the facilities. Restrooms will not be available.

Members who enter the branch will be required to wear a mask and encouraged to sanitize their hands. They may be required to remove their mask briefly for identification purposes. Sanitization supply stands outfitted with disposable masks, hand sanitizer gel and Kleenex will be available for member use. If all the tellers are assisting other members, then additional members will be required to wait outside the branch. We have installed yellow tape Xs on the sidewalk to help space members to wait safely, and queue to come into the branch.

Lobby traffic will be monitored by a branch Door Manager to facilitate member services and help speed along transactions. We will still encourage members to utilize remote services like online banking, ATMs, and mobile banking whenever possible. The total number of individuals in the lobby will be limited and no waiting in the lobby will be permitted in order to maintain six feet for social distancing. Yellow tape and other social distancing indicators will be visible in the lobby, and we ask members to follow and respect the social distancing protocols.

The health and safety of our members and employees remains a top priority. We do appreciate your continued cooperation and encourage you to monitor the SnoCope website for COVID-19 updates. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,

The Next COVID-19 Steps At SnoCope

Dear SnoCope Members,

Protecting our members and employees from the spread of the COVID-19 virus while keeping access available to members money is critically important to us. I wanted to touch base with you in regards to opening up the SnoCope Branch to members and the steps we are taking.

Although the original Stay at Home expiration date set by Governor Inslee is Monday, May 4th, we will not be looking to open the branch lobby to normal foot traffic as of yet. All indications are that the Governor will extend the date and exempt or only allow certain industries to operate. SnoCope is already considered an essential service. We are already open for business and serving our members, just limited.

We are in the process of establishing re-opening procedures and acquiring sanitization and safety PPE supplies to protect both members and employees. We have installed plexiglass sanitary barriers at the teller windows for safe member-employee interactions and we will be installing sanitation supply stands with hand sanitizer, disposable mask and Kleenex for members use prior to interacting with a SnoCope employees. When we reopen, we will be limiting member foot track to the main lobby. We have established heightened cleaning procedures and will have a branch concierge or door person on hand to help assist and direct member traffic. The total number of individuals in the lobby will be limited and no waiting in the lobby will be allowed.

Unfortunately, even though we ordered some supplies weeks ago, we are still waiting for some of them to come in. These supplies are key to have on hand prior to opening up the lobby, like adequate hand sanitizer and disposable masks. We have ordered from multiple suppliers and multiple sources to ensure we receive the supplies needed.

What’s next? We will need to operate differently over the next couple of months unlike we have ever had to before. We will require members that come into the lobby to wear a mask and sanitize their hands. This type of procedure, although not the normal, friendly credit union way our members are used to, will be required to keep both employees and members safe. We will continue to monitor the situation weekly and daily but I do not anticipate opening up the lobby before May 11th.

I will continue to update you as the situation changes. Let’s all continue to work together and be safe. We very much appreciate your continued cooperation during these unusual times. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Update: 4.3.20

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear Valued Members,

As we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our first thought is for the safety and well-being of both our members and our employees.

Effective immediately, through May 4th, the credit union lobby and loan department will be closed to foot traffic. We will continue to follow the April 2, 2020 Coronavirus stay-home extension order announced by Governor Inslee.

Members will be directed to call the credit union for assistance in completing transactions either remotely or by using the Night Drop as an impromptu drive through. For those critical transactions that cannot be completed by remote services (ATM, Online Banking, Bill payer, or check deposits using the SnoCope App), appointments will be made on a case by case basis. In these unprecedented times, it is important that we come together to support one another.

You can count on us to continue to do our best to serve you and keep you informed. Our branch office will remain open so that your banking needs are uninterrupted and our credit union staff are available to take your calls concerning questions you may have regarding your deposit accounts and loans. We are here to help you.

Sincerely,

Steven Ellis

President & CEO SnoCope Credit Union

March 12, 2020

Dear SnoCope Members,

Protecting our members, staff and the community at large from the spread of the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus) is critically important. SnoCope Credit Union is closely monitoring the situation regarding the Coronavirus in Washington State and following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Snohomish Health District and the Snohomish County Executive’s Office.

Access to your money is our top priority.

At this time, SnoCope is maintaining regular business hours. If the situation changes and branch hours require any adjustment, we will update you through our website, social media and email.

If you are exercising caution by avoiding public places or unable to visit the branch, remember that Digital Online Banking and Telephone Banking are available and can be used for most transactions.

We are encouraging everyone to follow the protocols outlined by the CDC recommendation for preventing the spread and control of this and other infectious diseases:

  •  Stay home when you are sick.

  •  Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  •  Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based sanitizer. This is especially important after using an ATM.

  •  Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  •  Always cover your cough or sneeze. Toss used tissues directly in the trash.

  •  Clean and disinfect high contact objects and surfaces.

  •  Practice good health habits. Get lots of sleep, exercise often, manage stress, drink lots of fluids, and eat healthy foods.

We are taking precautionary measures by encouraging employees to sanitize high-touch areas inside the branch. We are also asking members to pardon our use of added distance between member service representatives at the teller stations and themselves. If possible, we recommend that you use Digital Online, Mobile, and Telephone Banking (1-844 SnoCope or 1-844-766-2673 during business hours), as your primary channels to conduct business.

Additionally, as a secondary backup, you can also get 24-hour telephone access to your account via a CO-OP Live Operator at 1-866-692-8669; or use the fee free CO-OP Shared Branch network or the fee free CO-OP ATM network. Go to SnoCope’s website and click on “Locations/ATMs” at the very top of the page to access the CO-OP links. Nationwide, there are over 5,600 fee free Shared Branches and over 30,000 fee free CO-OP ATMs available to you.

As always, our website is the best place to find the most current information related to SnoCope actions in the coming weeks and months, including any changes or service interruptions that may affect you. Our Facebook pages will also provide timely and ongoing updates.

Using good judgement and our combined efforts, we believe we will be able to maintain quality services and keep both our staff and members safe and well. If you have any further questions please feel free to call us at 425-405-9973.

Thank you,

SnoCope Credit Union
